We climbed the tower and replaced the equipment. Issue resolved.

Power has been restored to the local Holliday area following yesterday's fire. All Holliday connections are fully operational as of 9:10AM CST.

The cables have been dug up and spliced back together in fort worth. Internet service has been restored.

The upstream provider in Ft. Worth said they have located the damaged spot and the splicers are working on it. We expect the damage to be repaired late tonight or very early in the morning. Even though this outage is outside of our network, we made some big moves today inside our company to add a second upstream provider to switch over to in the event that something like this happens again. We will be enabling that improvement soon so we don't have to go through another prolonged outage like this in the event of a fiber cut 2 hours away from us.

The upstream provider in Ft. Worth updated us that their technicians are still searching for the exact cut location. They have multiple crews working the outage. They will give us another update at 10:10 PM.

Our upstream provider in Ft. Worth updated us. Road crews cut a major fiber line, and they are currently excavating the area to find the cut and splice it back together. No estimated restoration time was given, but we expect it to be fixed late tonight or very early in the morning.

The upstream provider in Ft. Worth has technicians on site still working to isolate the issue. They will be providing us another update at 7 PM.

We have received an update from the major fiber provider in DFW. They are having a major network outage affecting their entire North Texas network. They have technicians working in multiple cities to restore the service. They have not provided us with an estimated restoration time.

We just resolved the issue! We contacted the fiber company we purchase bandwidth from and they were able to login to their equipment and reboot it, which brought the connection back up. We are very close to turning on a new fiber connection which will fully bypass this piece of faulty equipment owned by the other company. Rest assured, this is our highest priority right now.
